Sisterhood has put together a panel discussion about experiences at Williams where they have felt their identities were erased, especially in context of the classroom setting and other spaces in the school where we may sometimes feel, ostracized, and/victimized in a learning setting. Sisterhood is a student organization that caters to black women at Williams. Black female voices will and must be prioritized during this portion of the event to combat the marginalization that we face, even within our own communities. The event will end with a Q & A session to clarify or to expand further on any points brought up during the event. Sponsored by Sisterhood.
Goodrich Hall, 3:30 – 5 pm
Claiming Williams events are intended for the campus community. See the CW website for a full schedule of the day’s events.
