Restorative Workshop for Student Organizers and Activists

It takes moral courage to stand in the face of oppression therefore, mental health is an intersectional social justice issue. This workshop will be facilitated by Natalie Yoon from the Icarus Project a peer-to-peer mental health and social justice support group. The workshop will offer an anti-oppressive analysis of the dominant narratives around mental health, examine how oppression impacts emotional well-being and share tools for emotional healing and resilience. Students will build tools specific to the Williams context that can also extend beyond campus to create meaningful change. All are welcome. Sponsored by The Coalition for Transparency and Accountability, The Davis Center, and The Dively Committee.
