Dining on Claiming Williams Day 2018

A Word About Food on Claiming Williams Day

The Claiming Williams Steering Committee would like to thank the Dining Services staff, and the students and staff of Williams College for their incredible thoughtfulness regarding meals on Claiming Williams Day.  Claiming Williams Day strives to include Dining Services staff in the day’s conversations and activities.  Therefore food service has been changed to free Dining Staff to participate in sessions.

Meals are free of charge to the campus community.  No need to swipe cards of register.  Just come participate!

Continental breakfast will be available from 7:30-10:00 in Whitman’s and Lee Snack Bar Paresky and during usual hours in Mission Park and Driscoll Dining.

Hot lunches will be served in the usual dining halls (Mission, Driscoll, and Paresky) from 12:00-2:00 pm and can be picked up to-go for those on the run.  Food will be available in Paresky in three locations: Whitman’s, Lee Snack Bar, and the ‘82 Grill.  In addition, lunch will be available in the Faculty House for participants joining the lunchtime dialogues there.

Dinner will be available from 5:00-8:00 pm in Whitman’s, Mission Park, Driscoll and the Faculty House.

Hot coffee will be available in Paresky throughout the day.  Cookies, ice cream, cocoa, and pizza delivered by local vendors will be available in Paresky Luetkemeyer Lounge and ’82 Grill starting at 9:00 pm, following the evening keynote presentation.  There will be no late night food service on campus.

Join us in thanking our Dining Staff for their service and welcoming them as they participate in Claiming Williams Day.
