The Alt-Right and Anti-Semitism: The View from Charlottesville

This past summer, as members of the alt-right descended upon Charlottesville, VA for the Unite the Right rally, members of communities representing a range of ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds showed up in order to mitigate the pain and fear that it unleashed. Join Salem Pearce, rabbinical student and community organizer, who was present in Charlottesville before, during, and after the events to learn about how community members supported people of diverse identities in the face of hate. We will explore the role of anti-Semitism in the Unite the Right march alongside other groups that are targeted by the alt-right.
