The Introvert Activist and Leader

Welcome All Introverts!

If you see yourself as low key, reserved in social settings, and often reflective then this session is for you (Extroverts are also welcome)! While making up an estimated 45% of the US population, introverts are often a hidden population whose contributions are often undervalued, misunderstood, and even overlooked. In this session we will look at leadership and activism through the lens of introversion and discuss how all personality preferences can play effective and empowered roles in the workplace.

Our Claiming Williams discussion is broadly based on Susan Cain’s best-selling book “Quiet: The Power of Introverts In A World That Can’t Stop Talking.” For additional reading, see also The Empress Has No Clothes: Conquering Self-Doubt to Embrace Success.
