Move Into the Circle

2 – 3:30 p.m. Dance Studio, ‘62 Center

This is an activity that aims to have participants recognize the diversity of identities and experiences represented among the group. Participants form a large circle and activity leaders read from a prepared list of statements. Participants move toward the center of the circle in proportion to how much the statements apply to them. Statements may address topics ranging from hobbies to family backgrounds to social identities. Information that is often unseen and left undivulged becomes visible through this activity, allowing students to reconceive the types of experiences people in the Williams community have.

Sponsored by the International Student Organization.
