In this roundtable discussion, Williams students working on K-12 racial justice curriculum development projects in Berkshire County will gather with community organizer Shirley Edgerton to discuss their projects and their social and political context. Ms. Edgerton who serves as Cultural Proficiency Coach for the Pittsfield Public Schools will share the history of her work in this area and the origins of specific projects. The students will share lessons they’ve learned in their work so far including those related to social and institutional change.
