What Being Under Resourced Feels Like: A Simulation and Critique

This 2.5 hour event will engage participants in a role-playing poverty simulation and a debrief discussion hosted by the Low Income Students Association (LISA) and the Center for Learning in Action. The discussion will focus on the challenges faced by low-income students aiming to get into and complete a college degree. The event will be supplemented by an information booklet created by LISA with assistance from CLIA. Dinner is provided. RSVP requested.

This event will raise awareness of the struggles faced by low-income students attempting to get into and complete a college degree. The guest speakers consist of 14 local community members who have experienced poverty.
